RN to BSN (Online)

CCNE Seal SmallRN to BSN program at Robert Morris University is designed for RNs who want to further their education and advance their careers. This program recognizes that registered nurses, prepared with an Associate Degree or Diploma, have valuable professional education and experience upon which to build.

The RN to BSN program is offered in a fully online format. Students must complete the RMU core requirements and prerequisite courses. However, depending on previous education, course credits can be fulfilled through transfer credits and advanced standing. 

Admission Requirements for RN-BSN Program:

  • Minimum nursing program GPA of 2.5 is preferred. If the GPA is below 2.5, the applicant may be given the option of participating in an interview for admission consideration. 
  • All post-high school transcripts
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse


Applicants are to complete the online application.

Once the application is complete with above materials, the Department of Nursing will receive the information from the Admissions Office for review. The applicant will receive notification of the decision from the Admissions Office.
