The School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers two Graduate-level Certificate Programs.
Emphasizing interprofessional educational competencies, RMU’s Post-Masters/Post-Doctoral Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate Program prepares graduates to use their expert communication and leadership skills, employing clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to ensure quality of care of patients experiencing mental illness.
Upon completion, graduates are eligible for national certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a PMHNP.
This graduate-level certificate offers health sciences educators the opportunity to gain current knowledge and experience in techniques related to simulation facilitation, instruction, and leadership. This certificate program prepares graduates for the CHSE examination. Participants will be able to:
