MS Health Services Administration

The Master of Science in Health Services Administration  (MS HSA) degree at RMU is a fully online program taught by experienced faculty and working professionals.  Students are admitted in the Fall semester and remain in a cohort model for 24 months.  This type of model leads to a great networking opportunity with the other students.  

The degree consists of 36 credits, including the internship/capstone research project, which is a very important and essential part of the MS HSA program.   In order to be able to apply the principles learned in the courses, you will be required to complete 120 internship hours.  The program director and faculty will help to customize the internship to meet the your needs and career focus.   These internship hours can be spread out over the entire second year of the program.  The internship will help you make essential connections that will prove beneficial in finding the initial career opportunity.

Build your marketable skills and position yourself for advancement in a fast-changing field. Courses in management, strategic planning, organizational leadership, communication, budgeting and finance, research and evaluation, and other disciplines that will put you on the path to promotion and advancement in the healthcare industry.
